financial information. Throughout this notice, the word "information"
refers to personal information about you that may not be publicly

- Information about your transactions with others.
- Information obtained when verifying the information you provide
on an application or other form(s) (this may be obtained from
your current or past employers, or from other institutions where
you conduct your financial transactions.
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms
such as your name, address, social security number, assets and
income.
- Information about your transactions with us and others, such
as your account balance, payment history, and credit card usage.
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such
as your creditworthiness and credit history.
- Financial service providers such as those that provide mortgage
services, credit card services and insurance companies.
- Non-financial companies such as a newsletter mail house.
- Others, such as non-profit organizations as permitted by law.
We may disclose all of the information
we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing
or other services on our behalf or to other financial institutions
with whom we have joint marketing agreements so that we may provide
members competitive products and services. We may also disclose
nonpublic personal information about you under circumstances as
permitted or required by law. These disclosures typically include
information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the
operations of our credit union, follow your instructions as you
authorize or protect the security of our financial records.
If you decide to terminate your membership with us or become
an inactive member, we will not share information we have collected
about you, except as may be permitted or required by law.
Leaders Credit Union is permitted by law to share any information
about your transactions or experiences with us. Information taken
from credit reports may also be exchanged.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you
to those employees who need to know that information to provide
products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic,
and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations
to guard your nonpublic personal information.
